Allana was a player for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to stay off the field for some time before she made the transition back to league. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women came in the year 2015. She played well against Queensland as well as representing New South Wales. Ferguson played for JILLAROOS's team and was forced to step down earlier due to a fourth accident to her left ACL.
